Gap Aiming for a Younger Audience - Fall 2011

[images via Fashionologie; modified by me]

For their Fall 2011 collection, Gap is apparently aiming for a "younger, more diverse audience". The line will include two new pants silhouettes (slim fit & cropped and flared & cropped), more knits and sweaters, and more leather than usual. Above are four of my favourite looks from this collection.

Thoughts?

  4. Awesome picks.. I love going to GAP for basics.... they've definitley come a long way from those sweater hoodies with the big "GAP" lettering in the front... Ick! lol. Yeah, I owned one... definitely not my finest fashion choice.

And I actually love that heel.. It's AWESOME! Hope you're having a great day sweetie!!

  6. Maybe I'll actually peek into the Gap once in a while if they are aiming younger. Their stuff has been so boring in the past that I gave up on them.

  9. Eh, not really feeling the "shiny black pants" they remind me too much of the leather leggings awhile back. I would love the dusty pink crops but ewww to the flare! Yeck that looks a bit unflattering lol. It is weird they are gearing towards young...I don't really see anything young about their line. LOL but definitely diverse because they are seeing to go even more basic than ever with their clothing. More basic = more people's taste? =0P

  10. 'ello mate.

gawsh I'm pretty sure I read everything since my last comment but some stuff were nail polish or wotnot and I could figure out what to write on it

    "NICE COLOUR WEEEEEEEEEE!"

You and my friend who goes to york both tweeted that guys were honking at them and they hated it, on the same day. I thought it was funny. Being a guy and an mediocre looking one, I sort of wish for that attention. Food for thought.

The alexander wang bag you had was very cool. Next time he calls me up to chill I'll show him the pic and let's see what he says~

  11. When I was a kid I LOVED jai and could eat it without anything else (like you said!). but now i'm old and find it too "ham". Too mushroomy flavour, too traditional... too country style. My grandparents are buddhist so I was forced to eat it a lot whenever we went to the temple. Proper pissed me off :)

I'm not telling you why I'm showing agnes b. It's a surprise. And you'll never guess why it is, it has nothing to do with simply buying an item from their store... just wait for me to post it. ;) Thanks for reading my stuff.

PS-I was told to make another one of those "7 things about me." So I'm going around asking people. Would you like to list a few things you want to know about turtle? I'll try to pick a few from everyone.

PPS-I felt sorta bad about saying "she made up for it in width" lol. But it's true :(

  13. My friend recently bought a pair of pants from Gap a few days ago and she really likes them. I may have to go try some on for myself :)

  14. So I just went to the Gap a day ago - tried on more than 8 items....all of them = fail. The sizing is way off. Small was so big. Its ridiculous.
