Cap Toe Shoes

Cap toe shoes! Are you a fan of this latest shoe craze? I haven't dipped my toes (tehe) into this trend yet, but I'm very interested in seeing it on other people. I love love LOVE this DIY "French tip" shoe video that Chriselle Lim did. Flats or heels...there's something for everyone.  I think people of all ages can rock this trend.

Here are some of my picks.
Corso | Lauren by Ralph Lauren | ASOS | Sam Edelman

Victoria's Secret | ASOS | Torrid | Calvin Klein

I personally think the cap toe looks best in flat-form. Thoughts on this trend? : )

  1. I have sort-of cap toe pumps. The cap is black, just as the rest of the shoe, but it is patent. Pic coming soon! :)

  2. I'm loving it! It's kind of away to color block. This trend was all over Paris fashion week from the pics I saw online. I am so chicken to DIY shoes myself. I'm a Ontario Blogger wish we had the store DSW here. There are really nice flats there.

  4. Oh, I used to have a pair of cap-toe flats that I wore with anything, everything and everywhere. Even shorts looked dressed up with those flats. Don't know if I can still do the flats but love them in heels too!

Looking forward to seeing them, Cynthia!

I'd love to try this trend out, but I have a problem with wearing flats! They hurt my feet more than heels do. If I buy into this trend, I'll have to find some way of working it out!

I've never seen it in real life, but this trend is certainly all over the blogosphere.

  14. I love Chriselle's video. It makes me want to paint up my old shoes. But I'm not really a fan of Cap Toe shoes. I haven't felt the pull of the trend yet.

  15. I haven't tried this look yet, but I do like it - it makes the shoe more formal and elegant somehow! Love the Ralph Lauren pair - I think I would go for something classic like these simple colours :)
