You might've learned from this summer that I'm on a sleeveless blouse kick. And quite frankly, this phase isn't going away anytime soon as I'm still wearing it in fall/winter. (It does help that autumn has been somewhat mild so far.) I always gravitate towards these pieces because they're so light and easy to wear/layer. I have a small, but growing, collection that consists of different colours and patterns. The colour of this top is rich and bold, but incredibly easy to pair with other clothing. The metal collar tips are just an added bonus to make the outfit more interesting.
Is anyone else obsessed with a certain piece of clothing/accessory? (Black boots are another one of my obsessions, but let's save that for another day...)

I've had these boots for about a month now and can't seem to stop wearing them! Finding affordable tall boots that are slim enough to fit my legs is a tough task. I've contemplated on splurging on this pair by Stuart Weitzman* last year, but wasn't willing to spend a few hundred bucks on a pair of shoes. Here's a quick review** in case anyone is interested.
Measurements will vary by size, but here they are for my size 6:
Shaft height (from the top of the knee to the bottom of the 1" wedge): ~22"
Calf circumference (back is stretchy): ~12"
Sizing: True to size; Go for the smaller size if you're between half-sizes as they'll stretch.
Style: Pull-on style; no zippers
Material: Leather (and buttery soft)
Price: Retailed at approx. $140, but you might be able to find them on eBay.
I can't find these boots at any e-retailer, so you'd have to resort to eBay (where I bought them). Use the search term "report leather over knee boots" and you'll be able to see the options. Right now, I see one listing for my "Abbott" boot (at a great price, too!) and two pairs for the "Basta" style. Both are great options, but I ended up buying the Abbott because the stretchy back panel can almost guarantee a slimmer fit. The Basta has slim panels on both sides of each boot and may work out for ladies with wider calves.

**Here's a great video review by Zappos on the Report Abbott boots.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the boots or anything else in this post. : )
