I was going through my Instagram pics to do a recap post and noticed how many outfits had pink pants in them. As stated in a previous post, pink jeans were on my want list for a long time, but I had trouble finding the "perfect" shade at the right price. Here's a little recap of the outfits (that I took phone pics of) with the pink jeans. Even though I was a little boring with the constant black & pink combo, I hope this inspires you!
I wore these outfits to school, work, and play. The jeans are from Zara.
Outfit 1 (taken with iPod 4): I paired the jeans with a classic black blazer with a leather twist. This blazer from American Eagle has leather lapels that make it a little more interesting to look at. Black wedges are a staple in my closet. I love that you can wear them with almost anything. : )
Outfit 2 (iPhone 5 pics begin here): I used to wear vests all the time, but for some reason, I was unable to incorporate them into my outfits in the past year. Hopefully, this leather vest will give me a chance to learn to layer with vests again.
H&M faux leather vest (3 colours for <$20) | StyleMint Sunset T (my fave. soo soft!) | Report Abbott over-the-knee boots
House of Harlow Station leather necklace | unbranded spike bracelet (similar) | Michael Kors 'Small Layton' gold watch
Outfit 3: I haven't worn glasses on the blog in a while because they interfere with my sunglasses. Unlike some, I actually like glasses (although I do wish I didn't need them) because 1) they can cover baggy eyes & 2) they're stylish! This particular pair is a tortoiseshell pair by Derek Cardgan. I got it off Clearly Contacts (referral) for free! The site offers all new customers their first pair of glasses for free and you just have to pay for shipping (<$20). Almost all of my friends have already taken advantage of this amazing offer. I believe it's only open to Canadian residents.
Alexander McQueen silk-chiffon skull scarf | unbranded leather jacket (from eBay, but also here)
Outfit 4: I received a lot of special requests for "winter outfits", but truth be told, I just wear whatever and put a jacket over it. The Canada Goose parka I'm wearing below is my go-to jacket for chilly winter days. I love the fact that this particular style (Montebello) has removable fur.
StyleMint Armstrong blouse | H&M gold hair ring | YSL Arty Ovale ring in black | Unbranded skull necklace (low stock @ ASOS)
Outfit 5: My final outfit surprisingly has little to no black in it. What a relief! I've always loved how grey & pink look together. This outfit is definitely "softer" than the looks posted above. The Gap sweater is a new addition to my closet and has gotten lots of wear. As simple as it is, it has garnered a lot of special attention and compliments. Gap is a retailer for basics and I always recommend waiting for a good sale or coupon code. The sweater has a great slouch to it and feels incredibly soft & comfy. I bought it in a Size Small so I can wear it "oversized", as well as off-the-shoulder.
I don't want to repeat links so please see above if you want to know about the rest of the pieces worn in this photo. : )
