My Sorel Boots in Action

You probably read my post on where to buy winter boots last month and are waiting to see them in action. Well, here they are! With these being my first pair of real winter boots in over a decade, I have to say I'm pretty surprised at how warm and effective they are in the snow. My feet are FINALLY nice and toasty in the winter. I used to wear cheapy faux leather boots, then I switched to freezing cold rainboots, so having these now makes me ridiculously happy.

I've had this Rag & Bone cardigan for a couple of years now, but I rarely wear it because it's so furry (but incredibly warm). The fur gets everywhere and my boyfriend hates hugging me when I wear it. LOL Regardless, I love the fair isle pattern and how soft it is.

  9. Hi Jessy, I see this post is from January. Is that when the picture was taken? I'm curious about the conditions in cities like Toronto and Montreal- I'm moving to Montreal in a few weeks and looking for boots I can walk around in. I'm leaning towards buying these same Sorels. How are they holding up? Thanks in advance!

    1. Hi Diana,
Yes, these photos were taken around the same time as the publish date. I've had no problems with my boots so far in both snow and slush. Sorel is pretty well-known for making quality boots, so I expect them to last for a long time. They also have a one year limited lifetime warranty if you ever need that!

P.S. All the best with your move! I hope it goes smoothly and that you don't mind the cold. : )

  10. Hello Beautiful Jessy,
I am just checking in to see how are your boots doing in 2016! The slushy weather lately in GTA is getting annoying and I constantly getting wet feet from walking :( So I was just doing research on winter boots and then I came across to your lovely blog post! I would love to hear your feedback on these boots such as performance, warmth, flexibility and comfort. Thank you very much!

    1. Omg I'm SO sorry for the late response. I didn't receive a notification for this comment. :(

My boots are holding up well, but it's been a while since I commuted.. so I only wear them when there is a LOT of snow (like this week). With my occasional wear, the boots are still good as new and super warm / comfy. : )
