All Navy Everything

Almost everything in this outfit is navy, but I honestly think it works! They're in different shades and textures, so it breaks up the monochromatic-feel. What do you guys think?

The leather bag is navy with beautiful gold hardware and a removable crossbody strap. There is a zipped centre compartment inside to separate the bag into two more sections. There is also a zipped pocket inside and two other ones that can fit an iPhone. The bag doesn't have a zip closure, but I use the zipped centre compartment to store my wallet and other important items. I saw the Chestnut version of this bag (which comes in seven colours) in store and was very close to choosing it, but I wanted a lighter brown shade for a bag so I passed.

On another note, I love the back of this top. It just makes an otherwise plain shell look all the more interesting and is totally my style. I like tops that have a unique twist to them - rips, asymmetry, studs, etc. so I immediately gravitated toward this in store. Also, the bouclé skirt was slightly too wide on me, so I had it taken in a few inches. Other than that, the length was perfect for me!
