20% off at Sephora (VIB Sale)

We rarely get coupons or discounts at Sephora, so when they have their annual VIB events*, people (like myself) love to stock up. This year, I'm looking to try out a few foundations or BB cream (haven't decided yet). BB cream provides lighter coverage, which makes it the more likely option for me.

Below are the items that I plan on trying out this season. If you have experience with any of these, please let me know what you think of them!

These are items that I plan on stocking up on in case I run out before the next VIB sale:

BONUS ITEMS!! These two advent calendars are PERFECT for makeup lovers this holiday season: Ciaté and Benefit.

VIB Rouge members were actually able to start shopping the sale yesterday with the code GIFTROUGE. VIB members can access the sale tomorrow with the code GIFTVIB.

* Please note that this offer is only valid for registered VIB Rouge and VIB members.

  1. The only thing I've tried up there is the Kat Von D foundation and while the color match was good (I'm ~ a MAC NC 42) it was thicker than I was used to and smelled like paint. The paint part was the deal breaker for me. My friend does love the Clinique eye cream though!

    1. Ohh boy.. the paint smell would be a deal breaker for me too. I'm glad you told me! The reviews for this are amazing though! I'm gonna do a sniff test when I try it out at the store. Thanks Dana!

  2. I love the Makeup Forever concealer. How do you find their foundation and what shade are you for them? (just want a shade comparison in case I pick up the foundation) thanks!

    1. I use 330 for their concealer and 120 for both the liquid foundation and the powder. I think the 120 foundation is a tad light for me right now, but it's not noticeable when I use the powder on top. Hope I helped ya! : )
